Public Mobile defined the pre-paid category when it launched with its renegade identity. But the category was getting crowded with “renegades”. It was time to reposition.
To show Canadians that Public Mobile was a brand made for people like them.
We created an identity that brought the brand back to its namesake: The public. The design system is centred around our diverse illustrations representing the Canadian public, a dynamic logo and an improved colour strategy.
Public Mobile needed a logo that would reflect the core of its new identity: The Canadian public. That’s why we created a dynamic logo with six core “personalities”. The variability and diversity of the typography within the logo is reflective of the public: each with its own unique character, but that work together regardless of application.
